I hope everyone had a wonderful few days spending time with their loved ones. We had the absolute best trip with our family in Maui and wish we were still there. We’re back home and headed out to Carmel today to ring in the New Year with more family at the end of the week. It’s hard to believe 2016 is almost here, this year felt like the quickest one yet, but I’m so excited for all that the new year will bring!
New Year’s Eve is the perfect excuse to get dolled up, even if you’re just celebrating at home or don’t even make it until midnight (that was us last year). Every year we have a party with our family including dinner, champagne, games and lots of dancing. I bought this fluffy feathered Club Monaco skirt (that’s currently 40% off the sale price) to wear for holiday parties and it would also make a fun piece for a NYE look. I paired it with this silk crop top, also by Club Monaco, for a gorgeous play on textures.
I added the Temptation Drop Earrings in Champagne from my collection with BaubleBar for a tiny bit of sparkle. The Raja Bib would also make for a gorgeous statement piece to add to a simple lbd or even a t-shirt and jeans.
