I’ve always felt that a striped dress is somewhat of a weekend staple. Don’t get me wrong, it’s perfect for the weekday too, but its casual appeal is what makes me want to wear it on the weekends. Most of my striped things are more slouchy and cotton, but this dressed-up version is a nice change. I added pumps and a few pale pink accessories for Saturday brunch, which stirred it away from the more nautical vibe I usually lean toward.
